About the Programmes
Hotel Management Diploma:
This three-year programme (3 academic semesters, 3 internship semesters) is open to students, ages 17 or over, who have completed a full secondary education and teaches the foundations of hotel operations management and allows students to start working in supervisory positions and operational departments. It is designed for students without a university or college degree.
Bachelor in Business Administration (International Hotel Management) Degree:
This 3.5 year programme develops the student’s knowledge of operations, hotel management, higher-level applied management skills and business administration. This programme fully prepares students to enter the hospitality industry with confidence and particularly develops management theories and competencies using a range of teaching and learning processes:
- Hands-on learning in the school’s restaurants, rooms division, and front office (18 weeks of practical training)
- 2 required internships in hospitality organizations (12 months of real work experience)
For the final year of the BBA degree, the programme covers core business management to prepare students for an international career in hospitality and service organizations. Students have the choice to specialize in event management, resort management, entrepreneurship & small, medium enterprise (SME) management or strategic human resources management.
BBA with Intensive English Program and Service (4 years)
This program prepares students to meet the formal English language requirements for entry into the BBA program at Les Roches Marbella. In addition to the English subjects, this two-semester program focuses on hospitality operations with practical and academic classes.
Postgraduate Intensive Diploma in International Hotel Management
The 1 year intensive postgraduate programme is delivered in English and designed for university graduates and industry professionals wishing to fast-track to a new career in hospitality. The programme teaches supervisory techniques in the restaurants and kitchens, along with the basic administration and management practices of every department. Throughout the year, the student specializes in the Business Management of the Hospitality Industry during the academic semester, completing the theoretical preparation in addition to receiving intensive lectures in practical classes, with an in-training period in a Spanish or international hospitality establishment.

Innovative Hospitality Programmes
Founded, in 1995, Les Roches Marbella develops its activities with the purpose of training and qualifying Hospitality Managers for the International Hospitality Industry. The courses combine Swiss traditions of hotel management education with an American educational ethos and innovative new trends to prepare students for and international career in the service industries. The hospitality-focused undergraduate and postgraduate programs combine hands-on learning and internship experiences with management theory. This approach allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in the professional settings of hotels, restaurants and other facilities.
Reputation & Accreditation
In a survey of industry hiring managers, Les Roches Marbella was ranked number 1 international hospitality management schools in Spain for an international career. (TNS Survey, 2013). Les Roches Marbella, branch campus of Les Roches, is accredited at the university level by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), one of only six regional associations recognized by the Department of Education of the United States of America. Les Roches Marbella is the only university in Spain holding accreditation from NEASC.
