Middlesex University’s Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts (CEA) is at the forefront of teaching and research in areas where computing and digital technology are combined with creative activity. The CEA pioneered inventive forms of computer graphics in 1985 and have been innovating ever since, exploiting the transformative potential of digital technology. Since 2001 the Centre’s work has been presented around the world in a wide variety of prestigious locations.
Middlesex University’s BA Fashion student, Rasa Abramaviciute, won the 2010 Fashion Awareness Direct competition at London Fashion Week.

The School of Engineering and Design is one of the largest and most successful engineering and design Schools in the UK, providing exciting, industrially relevant undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

In The Guardian University Guide 2010 Brunel Design was ranked 3rd and General Engineering featured 5th. Research Power ranked General Engineering research at Brunel as 5th and Mechanical Engineering 8th.

The School's high reputation has led to extensive and close collaborative links with industry resulting in graduates enjoying excellent employment prospects.

Brunel is conveniently situated 17 miles to the west of Central London and enjoys easy access to the city centre (1 hour on the underground from the nearest town Uxbridge).     In recognition of the changes being experienced by many societies as a consequence of increasing global inter-dependence, the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences (ASH) is offering a Master of Arts in Intercultural Conflict Management (MA-ICM). It aims to prepare practitioners and advocates of social justice and peace to promote, just, tolerant and peaceful societies, through a practical and theoretical understanding of conflict as well as the acquisition of skills to meet the challenges of working in culturally diverse contexts. the MA curriculum and workshops address issues and complexities raised by a globalising world from an international and interdisciplinary perspective.
